· First home buyers: Deposits from as little as 5%, subject to eligibility

· Existing homes: Standard deposit is 20%

· New builds: Minimum deposit can be as low as 10%, subject to eligibility

Investment Properties

· Existing investment properties: Standard deposit is 30% (unless you have equity available in your existing property)

· New build investment properties: Deposits from 10%, subject to eligibility

Deposit Options

· KiwiSaver: Eligible after 3+ years of membership, you may be able to withdraw funds for your first home deposit, subject to eligibility

· Family & Friends gifting: Financial gifts from family members can be used towards your deposit

· Cash Savings: Savings in bank account

· Sale of existing property: Selling and using equity to upgrade or downgrade in to another property

· Leveraging equity in your existing property: Using equity available in your current property towards new purchase
